Learn how to play with color and pattern with low-stakes commitment. Timna will demonstrate how to dig through your scrap bag to make stripy mini circles. Each circle is its own color study but will play well with others so you can turn them into a larger project. Be careful though, these circles are like potato chips – addictive and you will want a whole handful.

Age: Adults
Level:  Confident Beginner/Intermediate
Instructor: Timna Tarr
Class Date: Saturday, August 3, 12-4 pm
Location: 330 High St., Holyoke, MA

Bring:

  • Assorted light colored 5” squares for the backgrounds.
  • Small scraps of fabric. Don’t cut strips to size, but you’ll want the scraps to be at
    least 1.5” x 4.5”.
  • Basic sewing supplies, including seam ripper, your favorite scissors, and thread. I
use Mono-poly clear thread for my appliqué, but if you don’t have that bring some neutral thread (grey, taupe, white).
  • Paper City Fabrics can provide sewing machines you can use, but feel free to bring your own.
