Sponsor a Class

At Paper City Fabrics, our mission is simple: keep sewing affordable and accessible. That’s why all fabric is priced at $4/yard. We want to do the same for our sewing classes, while ensuring fair compensation for our skilled instructors. Since launching our classes this summer, we’ve had customers who candidly shared they would like to take a class, but it doesn’t fit in their budget at the moment. 

That led us to dream up the Sponsor a Class program! For $100, you can enable a student to enroll in a one-day workshop or a multi-week class free of charge. We’ve set an ambitious goal: Raise $3,000 in 30 days, which will give 30 community members the chance to sign up for class at no cost. 

We created a simple intake form for sewists to fill out, if they’re interested in being considered for financial aid. We’ll randomly select students on a rolling basis. Students’ financial needs are kept confidential – names are not shared with instructors, students, or customers.
